Scope of Work

  • Fabrication of temporary offshore steelwork
  • Fabrication and supply of heavy transport beams (HEB 400)

Materials & Specifications

  • Material grade: S355JR
  • Coating: epoxy primer ≈100µm
  • Joint type: single-bevel groove
  • Full material traceability maintained through to delivery

Engineering Approach

Fabrication and procurement were run in parallel against the programme's fixed offshore mobilisation window. Welding was carried out by qualified welders using SMAW & FCAW processes, following approved procedures (WPS/PQR) in accordance with AWS D1.1.

Results & Outcome

More than 120 tonnes of temporary offshore steelwork and heavy transport beams fabricated and delivered to schedule and specification for a major offshore gas development.
