Pathway Road & Precast Kerbstones

A 4-metre-wide pathway road built up layer by layer, edged with precast concrete kerbstones for long-term durability.

Works began with the removal of existing loose soil, site levelling and preparation of the subgrade. A 200 mm thick road base was supplied, watered and mechanically compacted, followed by a compacted black sand bedding layer to provide a stable foundation for the paving works.

Precast concrete kerbstones were then supplied and installed over PCC bedding with a polyethylene separation sheet, completed with concrete haunching to ensure proper edge restraint and lasting alignment.

Interlock Paving Works

Approximately 650 m² of 80 mm thick, single-colour interlock paving to the pathway road and the front of the garage area.

Interlock blocks were installed in accordance with the approved layout over the prepared bedding, then finished with sand filling and mechanical compaction to achieve a level, durable pavement surface, completed to the required quality and safety standards.

Garden Lighting

27 garden lights supplied and installed on both sides of the roadway to complete the external landscape.

Lights were set out at 6-metre intervals, each mounted on a 250 × 250 × 400 mm concrete foundation for reliable long-term support, with the associated electrical preparation works carried out alongside the civil scope.
